my dramatic health issue.

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

my dramatic health issue.

Postby Miriam C. » Mon Jun 25, 2007 11:33 pm

Mike and a couple of wonderful people have convinced me that my day should be shared with my friends and family.

I went to the ER today with more strange breathlessness and chest pain. Just like a couple of weeks ago. All the tests came back normal except one. I border lined the test for blood clots. There is a possibility that I had a small, very small one in my lung. There is no way to be sure but I will be taking more tests.

Any way I feel like I am stuck in a dramatic movie and am caught between wanting to be sure while I can I let everyone know how much they mean to me and telling myself how really dramatic I am being. So I am just telling all you wonderful people you mean the world to me.

Very sincerely (and dramatically)
Miriam

:worship: I hope it is nothing serious & the doctors are able to sort out what is going on. I'll keep you in my prayers.
You mean the world to our little family of td & ttts too. We should wouldn't want anything to happen to you.

Yes I agree that is very scary. You defintly want to get some answers to your problem and have it taken care of. I remember my dad would ignore his chest pains until one night he was having a bad time of it but my mom finally convince him to let her take him to the hosipital then he found out he had 90% blockage of the arteries. Boy what a shocker. He was lucky to live. Went on to have a 3 heart bypass.

So we will be thinking of you Miriam and hope you get some good results.

Wow Miriam, that's scary! We'll keep our fingers crossed for you, and say a prayer too! Let us know what you find out. More importantly, if there is a root cause...

Dear Miriam,

I don't think you are being dramatic at all, and I am relieved that it was a small clot and the doc's found it. As you know, and others should know, Pulmonary Embolisim is serious. You are fortunate that it was diagnosed quickly, as over 400,000 deadly PE's are misdiagnosed or not discovered at all in the US each year. It is the third highest cause of death in this country.

So really glad you're still with us.

Miriam, As I tell my wife, be sure to tell the doctor "everything" regarding the symptoms.

They can do a lot of things to solve the problem (if they know what's happening).

Best wishes and prayers be with you. :)

Hi Miriam,
Things concerning the heart are the ones that shake us all up the most. I know that when you express your "scare" with us that it is a helpful emotional release because you know that you have real friends here with a genuine concern. Just pray to the Lord and ask him to continue to guide and direct you through life because you still have some good to do here on Earth - because I will....
We are your friends and we do care.
God Bless...

Miriam:
After our little chat at Minden, I just knew you are a wonderful person, very kind and easy to talk to. I hope that you will be OK and experience no more trouble like that. That's scary. Good luck I'll be thinking of you.
