fiberglass tutorial needed, wanted.

thanks doug, that is a supurb boat, i am impressed with the talent. one reason for using the glass is with my build being 10.5 feet long i am joining to pieces of ply together. i ai thougth it would add the strength. i think i am going to go to someo local stores and buy some stuff and jsut play with it on some scraps. see what i can come up with. thanks to eveyone for their help.

DG, keep in mind that, many of the small repair kits, that you find in the hardware and box stores, use a polyester resin, as opposed to an epoxy resin...2 very different beasts...while it may be ok to play with, you will want to use the epoxy resin for your intended application......

thanks MJ, i will keep that in mind. i am sure with our $147,000,000.00 cabinet shop, yes 147 million dollar cabinet shop we built (here where i work). i am sure we have a ton of that stuff around here somewhere. i may go talk to someone around there and see what i can get some samples of.

DG, I don't have camper ready to take to PetitJean, and until the end of the month, we won't know if the wife got that weekend off from work(probably does)...BUT, I have reserved a motel room in Morilton Ar and plan on coming up and enjoying (and joining) the festivities....
