the last few days in the forum I have found that many pics included with new threads are not showing up. Some peoples pics do show and others dont. Can anyone explain?Is it my computer or the folks trying to post or the forum itself?

Most likely the folks themselves.

They are either getting the "img" tag wrong or as in one case I found - moving the images on their remote website and not adjusting the links.

The img tags act weird at times.

If you insert your photos after you do all your text--you put your curser where you want the img tag to start--it doesn't put it there. It puts it at the end of your post, so you have to cut and paste them into the right spots.

So you're better off just typing them in manually.

...it could be a security setting or popup blocker on your PC, incorrect IMG tags in the post itself or the fact that Yahoo photos is shutting down and many folks are migrating their pics to other sites....

p.s. try lowering your security settings for a session and see if that helps..........MJ

Most of the pics I get, but every once in a while all I get is a little red x. I know it isn't the poster because others talk about the pics. Any ideas?

It could also be the pic has been removed from the website/storage.

I know I've deleted pics I've had hosted, since i only have so much storage....and some of my pics are from a couple years (at least) ago.
