You do not have to seal the inside or outside of layer 1 unless you think water is going to get at it from the inside - not putting in a suana are you???


I would temporarily attach your first skin- no glue - for the front so you can tow it down to get the trailer work done on it. You can remove the skin when you get thereand throw it inside the trailer while work is being done and then re-attach for the tow home.
You can permantly attach the the rest of the first layer and then wait on the second until trailer work is complete.
Fiberglass that thin may become brittle if you float it, but if you glue it make sure you have an even coat of glue so you do not get expansion problems when it gets hot this is really a fiberglass question for somebody else to way in on
