Thanks to all those who replied. I am still in the planning stage and appreciate your input. I am a homebuilder by trade and tend to overbuild everything. I will rethink my floor and wall plan to possibly reduce weight... I will be hauling our tear with a full-size Chevy V8 pickup truck with towing package so the weight really isn't a concern. I will almost always have a motorcycle in the truck bed also. I hope to never need to remove the trailer body from the frame but I would like to have that option. The 2X4 perimeter frame was simply to cover the trailer frame and have plenty of wood to attach the deck and sides.
I am now thinking of using lag bolts through the floor, recessing the heads, epoxying them in and covering with vinyl. To remove will be a simple matter of removing a few nuts and lifting off.
Thanks again for the responses... I will have lots more questions.
