You know you can by a cheap film camera and have CVS, or Walmart develop them and ask them to put the pics on a cd. Then you'll have pictures you can share.

Or if you have a scanner you could scan the pics from a cheap throw away film camera.

Just a thought.

Day...18.. All of my parts arrived ten minutes after I came home from work today . :D
So I cut the window holes and sealed them with epoxy. After it set I sanded every thing good with 40 grit. Tomorrow the Durabak goes on. Looks like I might just make that dead line of June 28. She wont have power yet. I still have to by a converter, a battery, and all them thar goodies. But she will be sealed up good enough to take her on the road for the first time. What a way to break her in a 350 mile trip.
 :worship:  :R :? 8)  :D :o  :applause:

Day...19.. Today I put the Durabak on. I think I am really going to like this stuff the only problem is I thought 2 gallons would be enough. Well it was not. I think the plywood sucked up more that I expected. I should have ordered 4 gallons. It is covered but in spots it is thin enough that you can see the plywood under it. So no trip with her this weekend :( I am going to have to wait until Monday to finish. I don't think it will be here in time to give it another coat. I do think I will install the windows/door/hatch/molding/and seals . I can just tape every thing off then apply the last coat.

I'm back.. just got back from Mass: we had a blast but I am sick of setting up every thing and then having to tear it down again. That and the Bears looking in the tent to see what I am doing in the middle of the night and waking me up. They don't bother you but they are nosey. I cant wait to get my tear done. It will make life on the road much easier! Back to work on her tomarow :D

Day.. 21 Well not really but work day 21 after a 3 day vacation. The 2 gallons of Durabak came while I was camping and Kayaking so that is all I did today was apply two more coats of durabak.

OH and still no Bruce with his camera I think I will call him right now.

Day..22.. Yesterday I hung the door, installed the T molding and the windows. Today I looks like rain so i might not get any thing done. If it doesn't rain. I will install the galley hatch, pop up vent, weather striping, and then the lights. After that she should be ready for a test run!!!!!! :D Fenders will have to be later. I still have not figured out how I am going to do them... Half the wheel is under the frame with not much clearance to the floor (2") and the other half is sticking out. I might have to cut a fender in half and do it that way. Any Suggestions?

Hey kirkman, I just realized while reading these posts you are in Elmira. My mother-in-law lives in Big Flats. For those of you who are not familiar with that part of NY, Big Flats is right between Horseheads and Painted Post. Our next trip there will not be until turkey day but I'll have to look you up and see what your build looks like since there are no pictures to look at. HEHE It took me six months to build my TD, you are moving at light speed. Bummer that I will have to wait 5 months to see what it looks like. At the rate you move you will have it wore out by then.

You are fast. Pictures are up already. Looks pretty good after only 3 weeks of work. Be careful next winter you don't lose that TD in the snow. Looks like it will be camo'd for winter use. :applause:

Mary K... Not really 25 days. I have had a few rain and play days off. I think I have worked on it 22 days. I would have to look back at all the post's to see for sure.

Tripmaker... Your right It will hide good in the snow. I think I might have to ad a stripe or two to her. Look me up when you are in town~!
