:? Man I'm really digging this outta the attic! Wow a whole 14 months since I posted :o thats' what 3rd shift will do to ya and your projects I guess! but after getting a new job (still 3rd shift) I have been able to get some stuff done. I've gotten my trailer done as far as the steel goes. and just cut the ply for the insulating I wanted to have in it . and decided to make my life alittle easier by making the back radius of the camper part of the hatch and leave me with a nice flat edge to trim up. I still am optimistic about having it campable by Sept. though! still have to find windows for the doors and order my hurricane hinge, handles,hardware....but campable seems doable yet. 3 new pics for ya

:o I sanded, scraped and used some nasty chemicals on mine 3 times before I got to primer it. Something kept coming up and rust waits for no one. Just keep at it. Sooner or later the rain will stop. It is Kansas after all. ;)

Patience, grasshopper. Just keep chugging away.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

I put in the insulation and put up the sides again for a fit check i took them down so i can get the deck boards bolted down and flip it over for the last dose of undercoating. Then they will go back up and be getting the spars put in. I still have to go get my door windows and latches and my hurricane hinge but i think it's coming along nicely, i just hope 8 more build days is enough to be able to camp in it!

Hey Hey, Good job. I think you will make it. Just remember the little things take the most time. That is why campable works. Lets you know what you really need.

Got my windows, door latches, handles and my "better than hurricane" hinge from Lil' Bear yesterday! :D and can't wait for the weekend to finish the spars and get skinning the exterior! Also have to get the galley hatch done and get the doors sandwiched together and the windows put in I think I'll get about 1/2 to 2/3rds of that list done this weekend which will leave only one more weekend to finish it to the "campable" stage! 8) I'll post new pics this weekend as I'll be snapping off a few as we go!
