If there is a cancellation???

Postby PapaJ » Thu Jun 28, 2007 8:22 am

I'm finishing up the trailer in the next couple of days, (that is making it campable) but I wasn't sure when that would happen so I didn't make reservations to Fernandina.

If anyone has to cancel for any reason would you let me know?
Shirley and I want to go, but all sites are taken.

If not, have a WONDERFUL time and we'll see you next year or the next gathering.

Tom,
The Florida Chapter holds a gathering at Anastasia State Park in November. Once Woody gets the dates set for that gathering, maybe we will see you there.

Thanks Ross,

I'm going to have to stay on top of the dates and reservations.

I went ahead and made reservations for Anastasia the week end y'all are going to be in Fort Clinch, so I'm still going to get some camp time in.

Have a great time and Shirley & I will be there in spirit!!

Ross,

Low Country Boil is a great idea.
Mayport just south of the campground is where the shrimp fleet docks. I think we are going to go up A1A through Mayport (get some shrimp) and take the ferry across the Saint Johns.

Mary Ann, a Low Country Boil is a nice mix of seafood, corn, new potatos etc placed in a basket lowered into a large pot of seasoned boiling water. Usually all dumped onto the middle of a table covered suitably for the event. I seem to remember you provided some really nice deserts last gathering, hope you keep up the good work.

You can try Reserve America site plus they do have walk in sites at the park. They are nonresevreable and held for walk ins. We may have a cancellation pending for a site also. I will have to find out what is going on there also. Either way we can find room for ya.

Mary Ann
what ever you want to bring will be fine with us. Looking foward to seeing you again. See ya there

Hey I heard that watermelon is in season there. We'll be seeing ya all in the watermelon patch
