OK, so that worked.
Madjack, this one's for you (and Aunt M, of course!). The bubble oil should be fine soon!
I took these pictures on 18 Feb 2007 when we went camping at the Pilanesberg game reserve, which is about 160km (100 miles) from Johannesburg. This is a gem of a game reserve, with all of the big 5 to be seen. (Spotting them might be difficult though, but you have a much better chance of seeing game than in SA's big park, the Kruger National Park.) (At the Kruger park game can just 'disappear' because the park is roughly the size of Germany.)
You can see this one is a male, can't you!

Zebra are generally shy animals, so seeing them so close to the road is a bonus.
Rhino's:
This elephant caused quite a stir! He didn't want to leave the road, and we just had to wait. We waited and waited, and then it became dark, (and then you're not supposed to be in the parks), and a ranger had to escort an entire convoy of cars out of the park!
All these photos were taken on the same day. We saw everything we wanted to, except leopards. (They are INCREDIBLY difficult to spot, and usually hang out in the mountains).
Well, that's it for now. Keep well till later.
