Just added a picture of my mini on the personal album. It has some modifications as it has 13' alloy wheels and sportspack arches. One thing that I have to change is the central exhaust as it is now taking the space from the towing hinch..

Man this is one lively forum! Being used to the Mini sites I was expecting something like maybe max. 10 posts to the whole forum in a week..

I sure wish that I wont let you down on this..

Classic Finn, what kind of chasis did you use on your teardrop? I was thinking of buying some old trailer and building it on top of its chasis. They should have some weight rating on them and this might help when taking it to be checked up?

Yes Kaavi is not too far off and im planning on moving to Jannevirta and its located 17km from Kuopio to Iisalmi-Kaavi direction. You might remember the old suspension bridge just after the airport? Thats the place.

Here is another one that Zyamfier has.. take a look..Nice one at that.

Was this trailer company build or did Zyamfier build it him self? The shape and the size looks just like something that ive been thinking!

Good Morning

My chassis was made by a company in "Pohjanmaa" 150cm wide and 2.40 cm long.. with straight axle.. here is a pic ..The rims I purchased from a friend of mine that handles coker tires ...

and the fenders I ordered from the States from RW Johnson in California. They came over by slow boat..

Image

If you can find a nice old frame or old trailer that certainly will be easier however you need to have it change build inspected or in Finnish Muutos Katastus.. and yes the weight rating should be found on the trailer itself.

Also the old trailer should or could be registered already that way you can avoid the new Eu Trailer Towbar change that came into effect Jan 2007. I had to cut away the towbar and get the Eu approved towbar which is identical to the one I had... but with no Eu Approved stamp to be found...

I can sure give you assistance on this beauracracy as you know that we have here. :?

Best regards

Also Im curious as to what the weight amount is the oldie cooper can pull versus the new model.

Classic Finn ;)

I know a couple who pull their berkely with a 1993 cooper 1275 single 1.75" carb. The Berkely is fully braked but is heavy as the chassis is cart horse technology.

Flying Finn... That is really an immaculate Mini... But... But.. But the steering is on the passenger side (to us anyway)... Is that one of them lil cars that you can move the steering according to the mood your in?

Darn that is cute... sporty too.. Garsh I maybe getting the Mini Fever now..    You,ll be the envy of the folks here in the home country for certain..

Thats the best looking Mini Ive seen in a longtime...How many pairs of jeans per kilometer do you get with it?

There isnt much room between your Be hind and the pavement is there? Thats why I ask...
