Chris, Too bad you can't join us. You don't know what fun you will be missing out on. I understand how work comes first though. Maybe we can meet at another gathering.

We finally made a decision. We have site #43. Charles may break the bank trying to get "slide out" completly finished before we leave.
If not we can fall back on the black teardrop.

See you all soon
Linda

Julie, I have one citronella candle and will probably buy one or two more cause the skeeters are out if full here too after all of this rain.

I'll tell you what, forget about the mosquitos.......... the racoons are 10 times worse!!!!!! Anna and I camped over in Area C back in '05 and one of the masked bandits got into my RubberMaid Action Packer tub during the night and ran off with a gallon Ziplock bag full of dog food!!! I went looking for it the next morning and found a virtual graveyard of breadsacks, Ziplock bags and various and sundry plastic containers of nothing!! I did find a cool stainless steel dog bowl in a ripped up plastic sack that I leached on to...... Maggie uses it for HER food and water bowl now

For those that went to the Knob Noster, MO gathering last year............ it's about the same deal. Nail it down and lock it up!!!!

Yes Julie, the tiki lamps do work. I speak as one who is a mosquito whisperer. Also, if you camp by me, they won't bother you at all because they always come after me!

Earl, I don't know what others are bringing and I am not going to be camping but staying at the lodge nearby and am limited to what to bring BUT, I am going to bring some Nachitoches meat pies (a local delicacy) and there is an alligator farm nearby so I may swing by there and pick up a bucket of alligator balls...mmm mmm mmm...

No matter what I'll bring my appetite.... I will be coming sorta on a last minute -rushing after the house move stuff -- so I have no idea if I'll cook or what. Like I said before, wine .... beer.... oh, and birthday cake for TRUDY (Rayvillian's better half)

Well, hide the womenfolk and young-uns, the Dog has reserved site 41.

I finally get to meet MadJack??? I hope I'm not dissapointed.

Chrysler/Jeep is going to set me up with a tow vehicle, just in case the ZAudi isn't ready. Hoping for a Grand Cherokee TDi.

My schedule just freed up and I might be able to make this trip. I have to be at a training in Houston Monday morning, so now I need to decide if I want to drive 500 miles on Sunday to get home.

Here is a link to check the conditions of the roads in Arkansas that you will be traveling to Arkansas prior to leaving. Here in my part of Texas, there have been quite a few country roads closed because of flooding or a bridge has washed out.
