My extra foot/ the plan

...ask your questions in the appropriate forums BUT document your build here...preferably in a single thread...dates for updates, are appreciated....

Barrie,

MO is Missouri, right in the middle of the country. Home of the St. Louis Arch and Kansas City Bar-B-Q.

The forum is a great source of inspiration and encouragement. There will always be an abundance of answers to probelms and I think a couple members have pictures of every trailer ever built. We have made many great friends along the way.

I looked at your build album, and saw a photo where you badly cut your finger. This must have been some time ago. What happened?

Also, I see you are from MO. My American geography is bad - is that Montana?

Keep well,

Barrie, we live just East of Joplin Missouri in the South Western corner of the State.

Yes I whacked my finger using a rotary cutter intended for fabric. Would have worked if I had used the mat to cut it on instead of trying to trim wood in the air.

Michael--thanks sweety but you misjudge how much your help has been.

Oh goodie, new pictures.

My arbor like trim should have been thicker so it could double as a drip guard but I didn't think of it.

Door in the making.

Auntie M that is looking good. one question though, is the cover on the garage opener removed for clearance, or is that a del fix (took it off to look at something and never put it back on, meanwhile two years later somebody steps on it and breaks it)? I am jealous though all that pretty wood, I will paint to hide all my missteaks, yours just looks good.

That's looking great! You're doing really nice work.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

 That cover fell off and Mike got it outta the way for me. It just looked like it might fall again and  Well he probably decided it would be safer somewhere else. There are thing a plenty that should be covered up but I have decided "distressed" is still in. ;) Del a compliment from you is a real treat for us considering your build. Thanks.

Tony, Sam, Mary K your kind words give me the umph to keep it up. Thank you very much.

Auntie M notice I called it a del fix. In looking at your trailer I became jealous, and desperately looked for a fault, when I could not find one I picked on your garage opener. I am hoping you find this funny and do not send me to my room.

Hi M & M, That is starting to look the "real deal", I'm impressed ;) Not long to go for your baptismal trip 8)

Cheers
Paul

PS Don't worry about Del looking for faults, he still has to learn how to put up a "real" avatar

That looks pretty... and it looks like it's going to be mighty comfortable too.

Are you going to be able to access your galley from the inside AND the outside?

Mike...
