It wouldnt be too hard to change the steering from right to left as both models are exactly the same. How ever the car is so small and easy to drive that I doubt it would be worth it. If I was towing a TD then I wouldnt have to bother on passing anyone anyway.

I got a nice picture of it from Dunkerque in France when we were driving it to Finland about 3-4 weeks ago. Ill upload that one too as soon I get hold of my camera.

Classic Finn did you document your build somewhere?

But it has the "Big" Panasport wheels on it. I love the ones with the 10in tires. Even though I like the new ones also, feel that their large size does not hold true to the original.

I was talking to a guy here in town, he said the same thing about converting the drive side.

That's really cute!

A boy I went to school with had a Mini. Every now and then a couple of guys would lift it up and turn it sideways right in it's parking spot. We all laughed but he didn't think it was quite so funny.

Good Morning Martha
I am thrilled to see that a fellow countryman with Ireland knowledge
and experience has joined.. Dont know if you saw it but he,s also a Travel Consultant ... Which I am by Profession as well.. So that is unique and a coincidence at that..

So just maybe we have the same interests..

And what you said about having the very 1st Teardrop gathering of sorts
is really a nice thought..  Teardrops of Travel Consultants...

Maybe we can meet once he returns to Finland ...even though it is a lil ways to go but he,s from the general area my wife is from...

2 is always better than 1..especially at a gathering.. :D :D

Best regards

I wonder if we can find a campsite big enough for our teardrops?

There are lots of happy campers here in Ireland. Usually they just park on the side of the road and bring their horses and dogs also. ;) If anyone has ever seen the movie Snatch with Brad Pitt on it then you know what im talking about.

Sure we can meet up after we get settled back in Finland. I think I could use all the help I can get anyway..

Yup that Movie is Great.. That could be a problem finding that huge campsite..

The wife and I we,ll be happy to come and help you get started on the Tear..

Hopefully you have a better garage than I do though... I basically have worked on mine under the starts... like last winter and this spring..

I call it the Under The Arctic Skies Shop...  But I have a Porta Garage but its not really big enough to build in unless I pull the tear partially out.. but ok it worked.. ;)
