I'm in, Ya'll aint winning that easy. :D
And I still have room for a another trophy. Order me one that sounds alot easier than bringing a frozen one.
I know there was some brisket bragging awhile back on one of the Minden threads.

I knew it!

Hey, I knew it would get to you if I said I win without a fight. Ok, I will find the beef! When I called the grocery stores, they said "Sure we have brisket - Corned beef brisket!" I will call there Friday and get some real briskets ordered.
Do we want T-shirts for the cooks?

Mad Jack we really don't have to get the beef there but most of us are traveling and I'm not sure how we would keep meat fresh on the way.

Anybody else want briskets from Minden if I can get them ordered.?

Guess I could jump in here and smoke some brisket for you folks too. Got me a tiny smoker just for such events, and to quell the confusion about who's got the bar-b-que "touch"... At the very least; folks from this part of the U.S. know what real que is... Too bad that talent isn't anywhere near the left coast. Fish tacos.... holy crap!

Hope no one minds I split this off from the "Minden Cook off" thread and gave it it's own place. Good luck to all participants and those of us who will be the beneficiary's of the wonderful cooking.
