Cablerunners,

Mary K wrote:Dooner, I'm shooting for this weekend to get the other side complete. It should be easier considering I have a template now.
Edit... Crap :fb , I have to work this weekend so you are going to be spinning in circle for awhile...

BTW, Who's Norm Abram? Sounds familiar... :scratchthinking:

Don't you dare rush on my account. You take your time and do another fine job on the other side. That is totally awsome. I want to see it in person one day.

Are you serious about Norm Abram? I think I spelled it right.
He is from "This Old House" and "The New Yankee Workshop". Like one of the top woodworkers around. I think he would give you a thumbs up on that fender.
Dooner.

You mean you're NOT supposed to write on the wood that's getting covered, sanded or painted? I use it like paper, albeit rather thick paper.

Excellent Job Mary K, I love watching your build.

MK they sure do. I've been having problems with fenders, so I've been looking really really closely at yours.

WHO'S NORM ABRAMS????? :laughter:

He would have had a special fender trim tool for that job of yours. He has a special tool for everything. No, seriously, EVERYTHING.

Norm is the real-life person that Al on Home Improvement was patterned after. He has a beard, and almost always wears plaid shirts.

I think Norm has every tool known to man. I call it the Norm method when I drill pilot holes with one drill and use another to drive the screws. No changing bits back and forth.
