Not quite that warm here yet, but it is quarter after six. They had a down pour at Nürburgring for the grand prix in Europe, watching high powered cars try to run in rain is entertaining. when to put on the different kinds of rain tyres is a gamble. Seams to have dried out for now. Go Kimi (currently 3rd).

So sad Kimi just dropped out of the race. Fuel? With a 500 million dollar a year budget, you would think they would have a fuel gauge.

 It hasn't been below 75 in 3 weeks (even in the middle of the night), if wasn't for our daily thunderstorms it wouldn't get below 85  I do live about 7 miles in any direction (except north) from water so that keeps night time temps higher and day time temps lower 8)

One thing about living in a desert in eastern washington is there are no large bodies of water. So nighttime temps usually drop, unless as the sun drops, a large body of water shows up (most people call them clouds). So when we have 100+ (about 40c) nighttimes are still cool. one question though can you still set your clock by when it rains? At grandmas house (Gibsonton Fl) it rained every day at 3:04, when I was in high school.

No, not any more when I first moved here it was 5 P.M. (1974)so you would always make the early bird  or never make it. Last couple of days its started before noon yesterday 11 A. M., 1:30 P. M. and 4:30 P. M. Today no rain at my house but all around me since 10:30 A.M. We are still behind for total rainfall, but I'm sure tired of cutting the grass twice a week

It's HOT and off-and-on rainy here, which translates into MUGGY!!! You walk outside and imediately get soaked with sweat. Yuk.

In other words, just another day where MadJack lives.

Hey Mr. Mad, take this weather back to Lewsiana where it belongs. I don't think it is at ALL fair to have Nawlins weather in Dallas without Nawlins kweeseen. So, either take your weather back, or send us some gumbo. 8)

Spoke too soon, started raining about 5:30 and quit about 20 minutes ago, living in the so called "lightning capital of the world" (as many as 20,000 strikes an hour sometimes) I unplug the computer whenever lightning is in the area. I probably don't need to, but it represents a significant investment to me and doesn't hurt it.
