SLO, CA Gathering at Montana de Oro SP Sept. 13-15, 2007

California, Nevada, Utah & Arizona includes Nor. Cal, So. Cal, and Arizona Tearjerkers Chapters

Postby Roly Nelson » Tue Jul 10, 2007 5:46 pm

Duane, I was wondering how long it would take for teardroppers and barbershoppers to cross paths. While motorhoming on the road, I had a carved sign with me that read, "2 barbershop singers need bari and base!" The sweet wife sings lead, tenor and bari and I sing lead. If you could bring your four tones of merryment along, I am sure it would be a welcome addition. Ok, now give me a B flat. Bum bum ta-da bum.

Roly, looking forward to the 1st SLO Gathering, with bells on and pitchpipe in hand :applause: .

Sence this is in my back yard and it does give me time to get my trailer closer to done. Steve I should drop buy and see where you are at too.

Steve,
you are right .... I should come..... Count us in add the Dickey's to the list maybe. looks like I will spilling out into the front camping area.
I should get to know the Camp ground hosts I drive throught often to see if any TD's or TTT's are there.

For those who do not know this is litterly in my back yard.
I can walk over the mountain and be in Montana De Oro in min's.

I will try and post Pixs of the Road in and the park camping grounds and the beach.

need a shower and you can stay an extra night
Drive across the bay to the Morro Bay State Park.
by Morro Bay State estuary.

They have new showers.

Across the bay you can reserve but they are usually with many empty spots and are use to drop in's.

It is not a pretty as Montana De Oro. nor as fun to drive into or out of.

:) :) Big welcome to Terry & Allen, Gage & Tanya, and Lee. :) :) :)

Terry & Allen, nice to learn another SLO local couple are coming. (Oooops I see you're on the page 1 list twice...aha, Chris wrote in for you earlier...corrected)

Gage, you have friends who, early on, urged me to hold a spot for you.

Gage,

Yeah; I am coming twice.

I thought I should be clear that I am going; as when I asked last time there was no space. I just wanted to be sure I was on the list.

By the way we missed you this weekend.

Lee

RSVP for Gwen & Steve Crippen

Postby Filifera » Tue Jul 24, 2007 1:47 pm

Two people, one Little Guy. We stayed at Montana de Oro last weekend and loved it. We heard about the gathering from the campground host when she welcomed us to the park.

Sure would be cool to join the group for this upcoming trip!
