Yoder fenders or something like

Postby waylonh » Wed Jul 25, 2007 2:08 pm

I have attempted to contact Dave from CampADK, and ask where he picked up his fenders. I really like these fenders, and this picture is courtesy of his page. I'm pretty sure his tear is a Yoder Toter. Anybody know where I could get a set?

Nope, Dave's tear is not a Yoder Toter and I believe he got his fenders from Lil' Bear (Grant).

Here's three places that you most likely can get them from:

Li'l Bear Tag-Alongs (fenders) - http://www.lilbear.teardrops.net/parts3.html#fenders

R.W. Johnson - http://www.teardroptrailers.net

Teardrop Fix-It Shop - http://www.teardropparts.com

Yep, my fenders cost me $185 each. And they weren't even made for a teardrop. $>

Oh, and by the way. Dave's teardrop is a Hunter Shadow (before Yoder Toter).

Depends on where they come from ;)

I bought a pair of fiberglass VW fenders on eBay for $72 (for the pair) shipping included. I've got to cut and modify them a bit, but to save myself about $300, I'm willing to add a little 'sweat equity'

VW fenders on a teardrop? I bet you did a lot of cutting/trimming. And I'll bet they are also just one layer of chopper gun.

P.S. I missed where he was looking for VW fenders.

I don't think he said he was looking for VW fenders, so you didn't miss anything . . . . I don't guess

My point is that $72 can build about 25 pounds worth of fiberglass fenders . . . . unless they're needed for a tear - Then you need to quadruple the price and the $72 probably won't even cover the shipping either
