Ack! OK. Then we'd be drilling through the angle iron into the floor. I was hoping for a way around this to avoid more holes in the trailer frame.

Securing the wall is an issue in my mind because I'm not really keen on drilling through the frame more than I have.
We based the build on a landscape trailer so the angle iron is "L" shaped instead of angled down. The floor is the exact height of the angle iron (sits flush with the top of it).
So the only way I'm seeing to attach the wall is to either build up the floor edge with the 2x2 at the bottom of the wall, or drill through the frame into the floor (which I'd like to avoid).
