Sos Houston - Voyager Has Technical Problem

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

Postby tonyj » Fri Jul 27, 2007 10:30 am

No picture currently, but I can get one this weekend if you want. I used a center mounted handle operating two side latches. I ended up surface mounting the latch assembly on the inner skin of the hatch and routed a small pocket hole in the side reinforced with a door lock plate.

Yeah, that description is as clear as mud. I'll get you pictures this weekend.

I only discovered that rod could be removed after I got mine and discovered I needed one 1/4 inch longer. Stupid ruler. Stupid measurer. Stupid 1/4 inch.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.
