Fiber Optic Lighting Ordered

Finland manufactures a lot of the fiber optic lighting for Saunas mainly. But for houses as well. These are quite poular here. Many of the cruise Ships built here such as RCCL and Carnival have these types of lights installed also.

So this is one product of which we have a lot of choices to pick from.

Well the wife told me she wants the star lit ceiling in the tear so she went
and ordered a set. It has more than enough for our size area. Also it has a mechanism that the colors will change if wanted or it can be one solid color...The projector works on 12v or household current which here is 220v.

I didnt argue with the wife on her decision. I just said yes dear thats ok by me.. wonder why..

Hi Neal ..Its Duane King there in the States that has a real nicely done tear and set of lighting .. He may be able to help you in finding a company there. See them installed in his tear..

I think the fiber system that Classic Finn is using will be really amazing. Especially with the ability to change colors and use motorized wheels and stuff. That's really cool.

In my case I was very interested in having a system that could work off of my 12 volt RV battery without draining the battery too much. The company at the link above has a 9 volt system that has 144 stars. That is what I bought. They modified it for me so that it was durable enough to work from my 12 volt battery instead. And all of those fibers are powered by a single extra bright LED light source. I think it draws something like 30 milliamps. I think I could leave it on for days without draining my battery to any great extent. So these stars can be used as a nightlight. The effect is pleasing to the eye and yet dim enough that you can sleep with it on if you want. Since I am not using 110V power on the system, there are no special effects as Classic Finn is using. But my little stars are still very fun.

Mine are capable of being used on our elctrical current which is 220-230v
and 12volt..I,ll switch to the so called shore power to my trailer later. Since here it has to be done by Licensed electricians... And I cant afford it right now so Im just using 12 volt..

Either way, Duanes or mine will really be "Cool" to see working..

I,ll be installing a few of the strands together in 1 hole as to have different size star effect..

Its not a big area I,ll be doing so it will look impressive. Im sure Duane will receive a lot of Great feedback on his tear and lighting.
