Mike and Frank arrived safe-n-sound. We got right to work installing some stabilzer jacks. We got the street-side wall on...The boys were tired, we had supper, then they went to the hotel..We should have lots to report tommorrow...Stay tuned..

Well, We have a cabin...except for the headliner!!
Everything went together as planned.. :worship:

We spent a while figuring out the A/C details and fitting up the furnace.
The headliner gets installed tommorrow, along with the floor recess box that Frank and Mike built today.

The floor recess under construction.

The "appliance wall. We made a tray for the A/C unit to sit in.

The opening in the rear is a "duct" going through the floor/cabinet below.
Everything will get 'glassed to create a drain pan.

The "duct". I'll seal it with epoxy, then close it up. Air will draw up as condensate drains to the ground. A louver in the roof will vent the hot air up.
A framed screen will close the bottom from critters.

We just sent the boys home! The weekend went great! The last project was the installation of the headliner. I'll update my build journal this week!

I had a rough weekend. Took my daughter to the airport Sat. Got up at 4-am. :SH

Then, The flights that Em was supposed to take got messed up..She missed the connections for her cruise ship. :cry:

We were up 'til 2-am this morning, trying to straighten out her lost baggage...What a mess!
She hasn't called us today. I can only asume that she's having a great time, and not worrying about stuff...That's my girl!!
Anyway, I managed to get a list of "small" chores done on Mike's 'Diner.
I bolted the body to the frame...Don't have to worry about it blowing off, Mike :thumbsup:

I finished up the headliner and the roof spars,

framed the roof fan opening,

and worked out the last details of the a/c installation.

I'm really trying to get the Tear ready for Mike to take home by the end of March. :worship:

Steve, that looks real good, guess you don't need the drawings. Just got home about 2 hours ago and have not even got the truck unloaded.
Know what you mean by being up at 2, the last 3 nights and up at 7:00. Glad you got Em's luggage straightened out sure she is too!

Frank, Your Idea is coming out great! That pic with the drill in it, is your roof vent/slot idea.. :thumbsup:

I'll epoxy everything so that any water will just run through the floor opening, onto the ground. That block in the cabinet/tray, will support the rear of the a/c.
I trimmed the roadside of that opening, so that I can screw a grill on the opening.
It's kind of quiet in the shop without you guys! :cry:

Work is slower too!

Frank's a/c vent scheme appears to be working out well. It certainly looks good.

Body= 62", Fenders, 11" each..Looks like 7-feet.
