window question

Postby nikwax » Fri Aug 10, 2007 9:59 am

I'm building a Puffin / Lil Guy type, a couple of questions about windows:

I've found nice crank out windows from R.W. Johnson. I'd like to install one in the back, which they did with the Lil Guy. It looks like the window ends up on the curved section of the body, and I'm not sure how that would work out. Thoughts?

If you want to use a flat window on a curve, I'd match the top of the window to the curve, and make fillets to fill the gaps that result from top to bottom.. be sure the bottom of the window won't fill with water and leak inside..
