Hello all- My name is Wade. I discovered this site by following a series of links and glad that I did. I have been interested in these trailers ever since my friend put me onto the idea. He spent time in Italy with the Navy, back in the 80's, where he encountered a few similar trailers. I will be posting a wanted ad soon to hopefully trade for a teardrop, not yet sure when but soon (have an '87 Mazda pickup and '85 Honda nighthawk, both of which I no longer need). I think I'm catching the fever, thanks for adding to my sleepless nights.

I'm located in Cookeville, which is almost halfway between Nashville and Knoxville on I-40. It's about an hour and a half north of Chattanooga.

Welcome to the forum. I'm glad you found the cure for you sleepless nights. Or did you really find the cure? Many of us have had sleepless nights designing our new teardrops!

Hey Wade,

Welcome to the forum. About those sleepless nights, I don't see that getting any better if you are going to design and build a teardrop. And if you trade for one, you will probably want to fix it up and add your own special touches.

Anyway hope you enjoy yourself and jump in and post with the rest of us sleepless folks.
