...am using a speed control unit I picked up at HF...works like charm...it looks a little dif than the one in Geron's link but I believe it is the same unit

Cutting fluid for aluminum and stainless steal is A10.
You should be able to get it at any industrial supply co.

I got good results this time, but I WILL try the cutting fluid. Is it hard to clean off? I've never used it before.
I am NOT a complete idiot! Some of the pieces are missing.
