cheep clamps and some boat pics

hello all i have made some boats in the last year and i used 4 inch pvc pipe cut down the center then cut in to 2 inch wide strips just bend open. cheep and ez. hope this can help someone save some $$$$

ps pics in album of the boat i am makeing for camping. it is a 8 foot D5. what do you think ?

Looks good but isn't it awfully heavy? Wouldn't 1/4" luane been just as effective for the hull??

Barquito is made out of 1/4 luan.

yes you r right 1/4 is what is called for but i am going to use a 7 1/2 horse motor with no inside rub rails and the ex whight is like 5 lbs the boat is like 65 lbs total
