Am I a thread killer?

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

We are just back from camping.
today.. brought my mower in for repairs..

and now heading out with the tractor to move some rocks.

I know many of you are still in a heat wave... but we have been seriously cooling down. We are having night times temps in the low 40's already. which really is pretty ok. but it is a reminder than the seasons are chaning and one tends to start to feel the pressure of getting chores and projects done before winter.

good day

I don't think this thread will ever die, but it may soon fall into a persistant vegitative state. To kill it, a mod will have to pull the plug, and that could involve a lengthy court case, and a battle in congress. Bill Frist may even have to do a diagnosis from a video of the thread.

Does this thread have a living will? Someone call Johnny Cochran.

CD :D

Oh must be nice. We are above 100* today. Twas over 90 by 10am. I feel the pressure to get things done but I can't afford the DR bill. :D  We need a good freeze to kill the skeeter and I will be happy.

We are [hopefully] about a month away from frost. We have some skeeters at night but the days are pretty free of them.

They say we will not have any of your weather for the next 10 or so days at the least... by then Sept. will be approaching... and while we can have really nice weather in Sept it is very unlikely to have the stuff you guys are getting by then.

If you would like you could come up for our cooler weather and help me with my chores... till it cools off down there. :D

Well, the thread may have to do without me for a week. I'm off to Monterey for Car Mecca. :worship:

Tomorrow, fly to LA, eat good food and hang out with college buddy.

Thursday, Drive to Monterey, go to Aston Martin kick-off party and introduction of 2008 DBS (next James Bond ride???).

Friday, Concorso Italiano and The Quail.

Saturday, Monterey Historic Races.

Thursday-Saturday nights, Auctions, auctions, and more auctions.

Sunday, Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and back to LA.

Monday, Visit friend who works in Jay Leno's garage and see what Jay's drivin' these days, then fly back to Dallas.

Tuesday, sleep REALLY late. Then sort through 3,000-or-more photos I will have shot in Monterey.

Busy, busy busy -- but, I'll be surrounded by the most amazing cars in the world, so I can take it. 8)

And, it is supposed to be COOL in Monterey the whole time I'm there. :)

Yawn... another long day... I am just getting home.... so where is the west coast again? are they on strike or something?

So how about a T shirt that says I am a thread weakener?

ahh.....on second thought I will pass.... it just doesn't have the same "ring" to it.
