What size door?

Postby Shallowatereds » Fri Aug 17, 2007 1:30 pm

For a TT with 4' tall sides, what's a reasonable door size? 24x36? 24x32? 30x36?

Or, does it all depend on my backside? ;)

36" X 30". Check the generic benroy section.

 8) ;) Depends on your back, front and shoulders if they are wide. 8) Oh and if you can sit in the door with a mattress, without bumpin the head.

I've started to build our trailer and the door, only one in this build, is 30X42.
Living today and planning for tomorrow.
TnT in Tennessee.

I agree with Madjack, make it as tall as possible, with just a 2" sill (so you can sit on the matteress with your legs hanging out of the door and not hit your head on the door opening and won't cut off the blood circulation in your legs) then as wide as possible so you can swing your legs in without doing an abdominal crunch.......getting too old for that.
