I also found the same brochure, what's interesting is they do not show any differences between drive train engine combinations.

Indeed, all Bettles available in Britain (we don't get the V5 model) are given a 1000kg (2200lb) braked and 600kg (1320lb) unbraked trailer capacity, but please beware they also get a maximum hitch weight of 75kg (165lb).

To Merkan eyes, that seems very low (only 7.5% of maximum trailer weight) but it is actually quite generous by Yurpeen standards - some big SUVs get hitch weight limits well under 5% of their towing weight, which would be considered unsafe in the US, I think.

I see T@b's web site gives hitch weights of 110-155lb, though these are for the base models.
