Under floor paint, this OK?

Anyone see any problems with it? I can get it locally but am not sure on the price yet which may make all the difference.

Looks good to me I bet it is expensive though! ...Looks like you could even use it to paint the outside of your tear with also.

Looks like high tech stuff. I imagine it would do fine. From what I read it seems like a similar product to elastomeric roof coatings I have used before. Good stuff, but expensive.

wonder if it flows and lays flat when cured, or if it has a texture to it?

Anyone have any experience with it..?

I used roofing tar on the bottom and am still thinking about cpes, primer and a good quality house paint on the tear.

Oh, I have to add that I think brightside gives about the best, non-porous surface, but is a bit brittle.... I do think white house paint, no matter how high quality, would be porous and get dirty after a while.

Just use a good oil based primer and paint. I did and the bottom of my trailer looks great after seven years.

I just did oil based primer and spar enamel. About $30 for all three coats. If it's good enough for boats, it should be good enough for me

I used fibered roof coating but this look good. No reason you can't use it.

...we sprayed 4 coats of thinned(10-15%) outdoor rated polyurethane...any product that will permanently(more or less) seal the bottom of the floor is good enough...beware of using a belly pan(sheet metal/fiberglass/plastic), as they can cause moisture to be held against the floor, inducing rot.........

I ended up just painting with a good quality outdoor paint, the climate here in Sydney is pretty mild and we've been in a drought for close on 6 years now so water isn't too much of a problem in that regard Apart from that the trailer will be garaged when not in use.

The product I posted looked good price wise until I looked at the coverage 1 lt per 1 sqm so I'd need about $60 of the stuff to paint the underside of the floor.

I gave the underside about 5 coats of CPES, nad then painted it with grey rusoleum...Hope it lasts......
