Vertical Slider Windows

Postby sid » Thu Aug 23, 2007 9:42 pm

Does anyone know a good source for black, rounded corner, vertical slider windows?

I'm looking for two around 16x24 with just the single window that slides up and down. I've kept my eye on ebay but no luck.

Thanks, I need 'em pretty quick.

Sid, the standard horizontal sliders, like those sold by RedNeck Trailer Supply, thru outlets like tjtrailers.com can be mounted vertically...the windows that Grant sells, probably can be as well....I believe that SteveH, mounted his(from tjtrailer.com) vertically...these windows have weep holes in the sliders to allow water to escape from the slide tracks and you would have to add them for the vertical position.........

Sid...I don't know if it were you that contacted Grant tonight, but I was on the phone with him and he mentioned that he had those windows on his site in stock, not exactly the size you were looking for, and they could be mounted vertically. He does ship promptly....doug

Doug, Yes, I did talk to him, and the windows he has are 18x28. A little bigger than I had planned, but they would work. He didn't know the price on them but was going to check his invoice and get back to me.

MJ, Thanks for the reply. I would really like to find some that I don't have to modify. Kinro makes some but I can't find a supplier.

I got my 15x24 sliders thru tjtrailers and just like MJ said, just drill 2 drain holes. If I could do it, anyone can! If I remember right, they came within a week of placing the order online. Arrived in fine shape & with no problems.
