Del....good choice on the yellow...be different....I plan on a 2 tone under the frame on the next one...dark frame, lighter subfloor...hey, it's just paint your putting on, same amount of work, just a different color...pick the colors you want! Doug

It is the same color (paint) I am using for the body. I hope it blends in with the body, making the body the focus of attention. Black I think would draw the attention away from the body. Yes Doug it is the same amount of work, and is my favorite color. The grass will grow through it, I believe most of it will be gone next time I mow.

Today my nephew came over and helped me flip the frame over, so I painted the top.

Not the greatest paint job,it kinda liked to run. Tomorrow after I recover from the vampire (blood test, me and needles do not due well together), I can put the axle back on.

The axle is back on, as well as the tongue parts. Now I need to run wire for the brakes, and the chassis will be complete. I am now prepping the body for fiberglass on the sides. pics to come soon, too dark now.

Well I took a corner too quick.

Not really, but it is time to build the roadside floor and cover it with black goo.

Tonight I did some sanding (go figure), got to make it flat to put a skin on it.

Bet you were into cow tipping when you were a teen!
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Nope raised in a city, laughed very hard when they did that in the movie "Tommy Boy" though.

Today I started to skin the roadside of the floor. I am using the many scraps of 1/8 ply I have laying around. I hope to finish this weekend. After installing the pieces, black goo.

Del...do you have an air board for the sanding? You can pick up an "arm shaker" at HF pretty cheap! Have fun! Doug

No I have a old fashion manual one, next time I am in Portland  . How much air do they use, my die grinder taxes my compressor pretty hard.
