Eunice,
I'm sorry you didn't see it, because all I thought to do at that hour was to make coffee, pet my cat and come here... Sorry no pics from me.
Oh... I thought about calling Joanie too, but didn't want to chance waking her at that hour... She's just back to teaching and it's her busy time.
I'm lucky I got up when I did, because my neighbor Ernie told me that the moon would be in total eclipse at 4:40 AM... I got up at 3:30 AM right when it was in full eclipse and kept thinking it was gonna get more fully eclipsed than it was, then thinking man that was a fast eclipse.
There are plenty of pics on the net, that's how I just found out that Ernie's time table was a bit off. That guy is so funny, yesterday he told me to make sure that I didn't miss it, because no one alive today would see another one in their lifetime... I see looking at a few sites this morning that the next total eclipse of the moon will be on Feb 20th, 2008 and then another in 2010.
...And I'll bet, I'll just bet that Ernie slept through this morning's rare Northcoast lunar show!
