Cheryl and all...I uploaded some new pictures to my album of my first camping weekend with the Teardrop. I have tried to embed the couple pics of the cheap nearly free shower curtains I picked up at Big Lots. The pattern was too cute. It even has a TTT on it. So this is what I will use when I try Cheryl's privacy curtain idea.

Enjoy and stay cool.....it's back up to 94deg again here today! I'm thinking fall :campfire:

Cheryl:

What adorable shower curtains! GREAT find! I love going "hunting" at Big Lots.

I attached a photo of the chili lights wrapped around the metal fence in front of the tongue on my TD. If not, check my album to see the photo.

Can't wait to see your finished project - I know it will look great.

Way too darn cute !!! It's a shower curtain? I'm heading to Big Lots after work, although red or cream color is more matchy matchy with my trailer. I did get red sheets from Walmart. Hopefully will get some touches done on my Jewel Box this weekend !!!

I don't have a computer at home or I'd try to post some pics of the pink flamingo lights (from Big Lots hawaiian party stuff) and of my swing out table. It's in the galley and swings and the top lifts up to put the campstove on.

My next table I'd like to add would be one on the side using that inexpensive molding to hold it and have a cut out to drop in a Rubbermaid dishpan or stainless bowl and have the Coleman pump to make a faucet . This would be a place for rinsing/washing dishes.

There's always more to do ......

Here is the dishwashing table I built. If you look at my album it will show you a couple of photos. I bought a couple of pieces of metal from HD, bent it into the shape I needed and attached it to my TD. It works great and fits snuggly against the TD with no gaps. Now I am going to do another one for the other side to put my stove and electric cooler on.

I have two choices. Redding which is 3 1/2 -4 hour drive or Santa Rosa which is about 4 hours.
Whenever I go out of town I always have a list! Certain stores I have to hit and now it looks like Im adding Big Lots to the list.
Walmart
HD and/or Lowes
Big Lots

Julie:

For the towel rack, I used an adjustable length magnetic cafe rod and attached a piece of metal under the table. Oh, I used a 2' x 4' piece of birch wood, rounded off the edges, cut the holes (several times) for the buckets and put 3 coats of paint. I still have to go back and put some polyurethane (sp?) over it.

Yeah, I wonder about the bracket on the bottom too. I was going to get some of the "table molding" from a trailer place, it's not too obtrusive and pretty inexpensive.

Not just for washing dishes, this would be handy for hand washing, rinsing off potatoes or fruit, or brushing your teeth, etc.

and about those nasty dishes YUCK! so shoot me dead but we use disposable whatever there is. the camp kitchen we got from cabelas ($120!) has a sink under the center table. just lift off the top, do the dishes.. drain the water through the hole (with a hose of course) and put the table back on...

am hoping that it doesn't end up that the table comes off.. the dishes go in.. the table goes back on.....

and then later its an oh ***T! :lady:
