I use these all the time, stick'em in your drill and go at it. So lots of time over the hairdryer and finger nails. You can get the pinstripes off the length of a car in a couple of minutes.

I'll have to spend more time in the ghetto to brush up on my ebonics.

On second thought, maybe not.

Andrew and other yurps:

Do they have ebonics over there? If so, that's gotta sound HILARIOUS with a British accent.

American blacks use a different dialect of "ebonics". Since there are a lot of West Indians there, ebonics there is based from Patois.
Go to this link and use the Tranzlata.

'Ebonics' isn't a word I've come across before. But Ali G doesn't speak 'Ebonics', he speaks 'Jafaican' - a sort of melting-pot, mainly London, dialect whose name comes from combining 'Jamaican' and 'fake'. Innit?

You didn't know about ebonics? I'm surprised, since you're very intelligent and not a dope like me.

This was a BIG movement in the states to sanction it as a "legitimate" dialect, almost its own language. They even taught COURSES on it.

I'm making this example up, but if I wanted to say, "That girl has the biggest chest and nicest rear I've ever seen," I would say:

"Sheeet--dem [them] Glad Bags [breasts] are 50-gallon size, and that chair cushion [ass] gotta be the top floor [best] that my lenses [eyes] ever pointed at [seen].

Now, do you want me to translate that into Yiddish for you?

Any good comment will always include at least one reference to Airplane!, as this one does.

Wonderful UPS:

The hitch was shipped on Wednesday, and it arrived on FRIDAY.

But it seems the UPS man had a problem with 3700, and instead left the delivery attempt notice at 3710. So my neighbor brought the notice over, and by the time I got home from work and was alerted to the situation, it was too late to go to the UPS center to pick it up. And of course, they were closed and don't make Saturday deliveries, yesterday was Labor Day, so it's supposed to come TODAY.

Which aggravated me because I had the long weekend to get this all done.

So as soon as I get the hitch on, I'm running over to HF to get the cargo carrier and HF, and then jump across the street to THAT Wal-Mart to get the box.

Will probably take Friday off to get it all done--15 days of vacation left to take before the end of the year, plus, it's payday.
