So, Who's not camping this 3 day (EDIT) weekend? Recycled

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Ya got me MaryK....
We aren't camping...Norma's back is still giving her grief.

I did go to a DO gathering at a local park today...Great people. It was kinda like a gathering 6' away from the parking lot (well, C.I. is heavy!).
I got out of the habit of planning trips over Labor Day after getting snowed on one too many times while backpacking in the WA Cascades...

Naaa... I'm not camping either. Just hanging round the home place this weekend. May do a little riding out in the country on my putt in between the thunder storms maybe. I just got the bad news, about a few hours ago, that my best friend I still do work for is in the hospital and it looks bad... Lung cancer that has spread to stage 4... No help for him, just a matter of time it seems. This really sucks because he just had a supposed complete checkup four months ago? He hasn't smoked in 25 years. He has been my best friend and mentor for about eleven years. He is two years older than me. Spooky and sad. :(

No camping here either. Played taxi driver half the day and worked on my trailer. Tomorrow and monday less taxi and more work, at least thats the plan, on the jelly belly. I can not go camping till the trailer is campable, the ground is too far down.

We're home. I have David making me a bookcase for my sewing room. One of my honey do projects. :lady:
I'm still working on organizing it & the extra stuff that was in it that didn't belong there.
Also I'm planning on starting the cover for our mattress. Has to be done before Sept. 13th when we head to the SLO gathering.
I would much rather camp on the off season then with all the crowds, unless the crowds are follow teardropers.

Sorry for your sadness Brick, I just lost a friend 2 weeks ago, lost his fight with the "bottle" 10 years younger than me, he was 46, 2 kids, wife. Heart goes out to all.
Not camping, taking care of all the dogs and cats, birds etc, in other words, I'm working!

Some would call it gruesome but it looks interesting.

My friend Kelly is a nurse and she has gone to see it a couple of times. She says that it is VERY interesting. I don't care for that kind of thing so I haven't gone to see it.

I'm celebrating Labor Day Sunday by not fixing a washing machine, although I've been trying to.
