Not at all. They have weapons for the Hornet, just not this particular one.

A better analogy is, you can't buy the armor piercing bullets, but you can buy as many regular bullets as you want.

This missile sounds like it is state of the art in weaponry, even for us. Would you want to give anyone your best stuff? Not that Finland is an Enemy of the State, but having some of them outside of your control is an opportunity for an enemy to find a way to defeat them.

Heikki...this is done regulary by the Brits/French/Russians/German/Israelies/US ...they all sell fighter arcraft(and other weapons systems) without the latest and greatest in avionics and other systems...it allows the selling country to market their hardware for others to use but retain superiority of that weapons system for their own useage..........
