Someone asked for pics of the h. hinge, and if one person asked a question, nine other have the same question, but do not ask.
A part that confused me is the screw holes go down (vertical) on the body, and horizontal on the hatch. When I tried to put them both vertical, it did not work. Sorry for the weird angles my tear body is laying on its side.

It looks to me like thats a shot looking down from above. And your hatch is kinda a triangle shape.

The side with the predrilled screws attaches to the body (and you can cover those screws with the standard trim, and the other side (that attaches to the hatch needs to be drilled (to whatever spacing works for you)

Don't know if this helps since I don't really understand what your asking...... But my hurricane hinge (from Grant) is similial, and it is a tight nesting (ie. it takes a little bit of pressure to move it.)

You can always take it apart to make sure nothing is binding it up, and I'm sure there are products (lubricants) that can be applied to make it work easier.

Sorry what I am asking for is pictures of hinges installed. My tear is shaped odd, but how I installed it pertains to normal tears to. I am doing this for the community, the community has helped me, so...
