Sid - what'd you use for a galley hinge and can we get a close up shot of it with the trim?

You did exactly what I had in mind finish wise so I'd love to see some closeups!!!

It's a hurricane hinge from Grant. It overlaps the ends by about 3/8 to 1/2 and inch. I'm off to work right now, but will try and get the pics this evening. The white is fiberglass used now days to cover the top of semi trailers. Found it locally at a trailer repair shop. It comes 102 inches wide and they can cut you whatever length you want. I went there to get aluminum, and the guy had a roll of this setting next to it. It is also used for our headliner. Really easy to work with.

I haven't finished cleaning it all up yet! And... these were taken at night with a flash, but I hope you get the idea. I still have a little caulking and finishing to do around the edges. All the white is just caulk that needs wiped off from my sticky fingers.
