We have an airport. The San Luis Obispo airport. :D

Debbie,
I'm pretty sure the dogs can go on the beach by the camp-site. They have to be on a leash.

Steve, Matt and Chris,
Just a case of wishfull thinking... That talk about barbequeing and knowing there's gonna be a dutch oven potluck, plus a waffle off...
Just made me wanna go, 'cause I know we're gonna miss a goodun...
I spoke with TDN this evening and booking a flight this late would be too costly, it's real expensive to fly over the Redwood Curtain.
As far as driving, it's just too long of a haul with Joanie teaching school...
She took a look at the mileage earlier and there's just not enough time off for her to swing it.
There's a lot of people that are gonna be there that I haven't met yet. :(
We will be there in spirit with all of you and will look for wifi updates here on the forum.

Im not sure how the spots work but i will only have my beetle and trailer at my spot. Anyone can park their TV at my site if they need and if the spot has room. As long as they make my bed in the morning and wash my dishes.

Steve,

I'm gettin' real excited about this gathering. When I heard there were going to be 20 teardrops there, I almost peed my pants. That was a while back. I haven't been following this thread and missed the fact that we are now up to 35! Man, 'O Man!

I wanted to offer that I can share a site. But I will need to work out some parking to make it happen. We will have the teardrop, the van, and a motorcycle with a sidecar. So that's three vehicles. If somebody can find a place for me to stash the van for the weekend, I will have room for another trailer. We are bringing the motorcycle because we figure it will be fun to tour the coast with it. Linda and I could even drive the van to some neighboring town and park it and return to the camp-site with the motorcycle.

I just need someone to tell me where my van might be safe. If we share a campsite, does it mean that someone that snores will be sleeping 4 feet away from us with open windows?

:?

Well, I already offered. Too late to back out now. Who's got the earplug concession for this gathering?

:D

Oh, I got a question I didn't see covered in the other posts. Will we have to park our trailers on the 24' x 24' pad? Or can we wheel them into a flat spot near the tables?

And another thing, if someone is flying solo without a trailer or a tent, they can bunk in my van. All can offer is a flat floor. You need your own bedroll and stuff. If that happens, I promise not to park you in a neighboring community.
