HF Bearings Again

What's odd to me Bruce is that I've got personalized plates on it....1959 AMC, and still get asked what year it is and what type of car it is, when they can plainly see what I'm asking for parts on. Kinda bugs me when it's a parts person... I guess I've turned into what my father used to complain about, only a generation apart. Doug

These "parts people" don't know anything outside of what the computer says. I understand that is is a bit difficult to keep up with all the different cars, but the thing that really gets me is that they always doubt you.

Even on one our our Civics which wasn't that old at the time. I happened to bring the brake pads with me when I went to get new ones. When they swapped them from the ones in the box they were noricably different. They said, "are you shure these came from a 1990 Civic?"
Me, "We've only owned the car for 10 years, of course it came from a 1990 Civic."

P.S. I'm just kidding. I know you put the tools back. But it's funny how that's a big pet peeve of mine, just like it was for my Dad.
