As a US American I find it most disturbing that South Africa and The Iraq are ummmmm....... better equipped with maps then many US Americans other then me. And therefore and so forth I believe the aaaaaaa, the only way to truly have world piece, I mean peace, is to have US Americans and some South Africans such as Iraq build teardrop campers and go to The Louisiana at the LCGII and meet Madjack.

And that's all I have to say about that. :D

Seeing that I am (seemingly) the only person from South Africa on this board I could just as well have my go at this thread.

South Africa and Iraq in the same sentence? Is that what some Americans think of South Africa? Are we that bad?

Makes me think about when we toured the US. On a bus in Los Angeles a guy saw me and my wife's pack packs, and asked us where we were from. I answered: "South Africa", and he replied, "I know where that is! It's next to Belgium". (He was serious.) I said, "No, not quite" and left it at that.

Anyway, my last comment. All of you should say your prayers for living in the US. You don't know what privilege that is.... . :worship: :worship:

Barrie, first I would consider the source...a bubble headed pagent queen...next, I would apologize for the idiocy of my fellow countryman(gulp...that is even scary to me)...

I know where South Africa is...next to South America and above the South Pole...isn't it :D ;)

You're quite right. One should consider the source. Thanks.

Yup, you got it!! ;) ;) (Actually I have never thought about it that way, but technically you're right!!)

Maybe I was a little too uptight about this. Maybe I'm just jealous not to live in a free country like yours... It sometimes gets to me...
