not that one, but did build a 16 foot runabout many years ago from a kit... easy enough, if you take your time and read the instructions...

Take their time estimate and double it... finishing takes patience and time.. the build usually goes pretty fast... also build a couple of kayaks..

To my knowledge, none of them ever sank. The kayak I use now was built about 7 years ago and with a bit of maintenance, still looks as good as the day it was built.

I've built a Stevenson Projects Weekender sailboat.

I've built a Nick Schades S&G kayak.

I've built a Sam Devlin Pollywog dinghy.

Built a modified Bolger design called a Gypsy. Sorry--no pics.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

A friend and I built a 32' sail boat back in the 70s.

We also built a little 12' boat in a day using surfboard foam and fiberglass. Cut the foam and tape it together until it looks like a boat, then fiberglass both sides with a layer of mat and a layer of cloth. It was light weight, unsinkable, and very sturdy.
