Let's all wear the same thing, then the media will know our little cult is for real!

With the number of teardroppers there, maybe we can all pitch in a buck a peice and bribe the big wiggy's to move all together way down at some other spot,... like move Victor Star and CPA Sparks and Milo and Starleen to where the RV and Mystery's are....
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

TRAVEL ADVISORY

Postby starleen2 » Tue Sep 11, 2007 8:22 pm

TRAVEL ADVISORY listed on website http://www.crt.state.la.us/parks/ibistino.aspx
The Dept. of Transportation & Development will close Dement Road -- the access route between the main area of Lake Bistineau SP and the Area 2 Group Camp and Day Use Area -- for bridge construction. The closure is expected to last approximately 60 days, depending on weather conditions.

The re-routed directions are as follows: From the road closure signs on Dement Road, head north on Hwy 163 for 1.7 miles; then turn right (East) onto Boothville Road (Parish Road 178) and travel 1.8 miles to Dement Road (Parish Road 177). Turn right (South) and travel 1.1 miles to Lake Bistineau State Park, Area 2.

Thanks for the heads up on the bridge work being done and the detour.
I will have to make note on the OLD Trip Computer. 8)
Pencil in the directions on the map with my crayon.
I wish Google Earth had better resolution; but I know the reason and not mention it ( at least the park ).
Julie I would be willing to swap my Mistery Camper spot to a closer spot to where the action is? ;)
It would be closer look at the Gators and to be at nature with them. Beside my site has a pad.:R

Rem here is a LINK to google map from Carthage, TX to the State Park just note the change at step 13 on the link to the Detour for the bridge Construction from above that Starleen mentioned.

I think we should come up with a special chant, and hand gestures, like moose ears.

Does anyone know the old Flintstones schtick for the Loyal Order of Water Buffaloes?

We need a Grand Poobah. MadJack???
