Ordered My Ford 28-31 Tail/Signal Lights

Postby campadk » Thu Mar 17, 2005 3:28 pm

Just ordered all the bits and pieces for my F/B fenders that I am FINALLY going to have
added to my tear in April. Putting on a pair of Ford 28-31 Tail/Signal Lights with chrome
standoffs which I just ordered from Wescotts Auto in Boring Oregon
(see http://wescottsauto.com).

Has anyone ordered from them before?

Now the big decision on fender color. Red, hot red, spicey red, ADK red, fire engine red,
canoe red... any ideas to give my tear the look it needs? :x

2 thoughts on color: paint the fenders gold than go back over them with a translucent candy apple red. It gives it a nice color. Option 2, paint the fender black and go over it again with a translucent blood red. Again a very nice color.
Pop ups are good (99 Coleman) But Tear drops are better!

Dave,
I have purchased from Wescott several times. Over the counter, they are great, very friendly and honest people. They have been in the same location for over 40 years and it's only 10 miles away from my house. The owner still builds hot rods and his wife and son handle the front end.
I'd really like to purchase one of their '32 Ford, 3 window coupe bodies to build. A very high quality product, but way spendy.
