same vinyl as Jeff, been on over a year outside in the hot Georgia sun, no problems.
if I had to glue it down again, I'd coat the top with water based rubber cement, let it dry, and then use the spray 3M stuff on the vinyl and lay it down..
I did that on the hatch and it's holding like a champ. the roof i used just the spray stuff and tite-bond 3 on the edge.

I checked with www.yourautotrim.com and they have nothing over 54"which is fine if your building a 48" . Any other suppliers of vinyl? I need about 58"?

Yep - like I said earlier "I glued it onto a 5/16 landau closed cell foam. "
Mine hasn't leaked like the old Caddies because I used a continuous piece, not one with seams like the Caddies had.
