LCGII Nametags

Postby tonyj » Sun Sep 16, 2007 6:31 pm

Well, it's time I get started on this, seeing as how we'll have well over 10,000 campers attending.

If you want your genuwine, custom made, LCG nametag for the event, please send me a PM with the following info:

Screen name

First and last name (for each person attending)

City of origin

Site number (or cabin)

By the way, if you are a "Mystery Camper," please send me your info--I won't tell anyone ahead of time. You want a nametag, don't you?

Like last year, I will use your avatar picture on the nametag, so if you don't have a picture, get one up. If you change your avatar between now and the event, it might have your old avatar unless you remind me that you have made a change.

Please send me the info as soon as possible. It takes time to get this done, so I appreciate your helping me get this started as soon as possible. I hope to have these completed at least a week before the event, so don't wait until the last minute. Many thanks . . .

:o Wow - the numbers really went up.

I was hoping the "mystery campers" were Mike and Andrew. We're not flying them down/over?

Cool idea with the nametags. I will wear mine proudly. Also, will they be laminated? I plan on getting really wet during this event. Don't ask. :D

Nope--not laminated. But you give me an idea. Instead of name tags I could take a Sharpie and print screen names on everyone's forehead.

On second thought, I better stick with name tags--there's no spell check with a Sharpie! But if you are planning on getting wet, we can do a name tag and the Sharpie thing. Better safe than sorry, especially if we need to identify the body after you go swimming with the gators!

Yes, please PM me with your info. These tags take time to make and I have only heard from less than a third of those attending. And my time to make the tags is growing short.

If you don't send me your info this week, you'll have to wear a name tag that says "Hello, my name is . . ." instead of the custom name tags that all the cool kids will be wearing. Or we'll write your screen name on your forehead with a Sharpie!

I send a reply as soon as I've gotten your info, so if you have sent it to me and you haven't gotten a reply, please send the info again. If I sent you a message, your tag is already made.

Okay--here is the list of shame.

I don't have nametag and attendance info for the following:

Big DE's Crew
Fred (and Taz)
jplock
McTeardrops
Mystery Camper
rwhitley
Sodapop Teardrop
St John
Steve Wolverton
Trail-of-Tears

The info you send will also help with an accurate head count for those preparing food and drink. I can pull some of last year's info (if you attended), but it might not be correct. And I'll have to start making up nicknames and towns where you come from. You don't want me doing that.

So, please PM me ASAP! By the way, I will edit this post and remove names as I receive them

Another issue just came to mind. If you aren't listed on the map and are going to get fitted in and your name isn't on the list above and you haven't already sent me your info, please PM me.

What a confusing sentence. :?

Okay, the name tags are printing out right now.

I have sent pm's to everyone whose info I haven't gotten, so you still have a chance. I have tried to pull as much info as possible from last year's list, and from info on the forum, but I am sure I don't have everything.

If you send the info to me after Thurs nite, I can't guarantee you'll have personalized name tags, but I'll try if I can. Time is getting short.
