Got it Bad

Postby starleen2 » Sun Sep 16, 2007 10:50 pm

Help, I got it bad – We built two trailers in less than 9 months apart – kinda like kids. But here is my prob – I want to build again, but this time not one of those square flat top designs but either an expanded Widget or The Canned Ham (as seen on E-bay). This time I will even fabricated the trailer portion as well. Wife thinks I’ve lost it –Maybe I have – tee hee hee :? – but now makin a list and staying up half the night drawing out plans and the other half dreaming about getting busy ( trailer building that is, you pervs). Got to stop this obsession – however I am getting newer tools, so not all is bad. Any advice will be greatly appreciated $> might as well saygoodby too them bucks

Sorry, I won't be a bit of help. I already got the chassis for my "third" one.

That Widget looks mighty fine.

I'm keeping my eye on the ET in progress. Gotta have a toilet and shower.

You must be asking the wrong people here. I've almost finished Number 3.
By the way, there is no cure
Cheers

Some where in July of 06 I found out about teardrops in a chance conversation. On 11/10/06 I started to build eggbert my 3x5 motorcycle teardrop. Started Chubby my 5x10 on 4/1/07. Pulled another frame home for a 4x8 on Saturday 10/8/07 it was free and I couldn't resist. Well guess what , I scored a double axle boat trailer yestrday yeah it was free too.
I'm selling eggbert and will probably sell Chubby next spring but it kinda like selling one of the kids I don't know. The build is the best part to me ! I don't even want to camp it takes away too much from my build time .I know that the camping statement is almost sacraligious but it's true. The boat trailer will be an experimental mulit use trailer a flat bed with provisions for a large teardrop clamp on body and a second enclosed box for a closed utility trailer. The little 4x8 will be strictly for sale. I'm OK
I'm OK I'm OK I think ! :? :?

My wife threatens me every time I mention a number 2. So I'll just have to make number 1 last a long time. Never even got the inside done and I'm already redoing it

WE'RE ALL DOOMED! DOOMED, I SAY!
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.
