Found: Play Mor II fiberglass TT -- Need info/help.

Hey guys, found a Play Mor II fiberglass TT.

Looks a lot like the Scamp, Burro, Cassita, style.

Asking price is $1200. But will negotiate.
Axle is a Torflex and is set (i.e. needs replacing {$400??})

Windows have been unprofessionally caulked/sealed and are a mess on the outside. No obvious water damage inside. No cracks dents etc. to the fiberglass on the outside. No bath or shower. Small "full" size bed/dinnette with a couch on the front end that makes bunk beds for kids (i.e. the back of the couch folds UP instead of DOWN.

It has been registered as a "homebuilt" so the original (factory) identification is missing from the chassis. Uhhhhh!!!! Whassup?

I've never heard of tHe Play mor II.

What have I found.

Will try to get pics. It's just 4-5 miles from the house.
Here's a link to a pic on FiberglassRV forum.

This is NOT the trailer for Sale!!!! But it's like it.
If it's not broken, you're not trying hard enough.

 Just off the top of my head. If you have to replace the axle and redo the windows and who knows what else once you get a real good look. Maybe anything under a $1000. It really comes down to what will you be happy with after you get a real close look and kind of figure out what your expense will be to get it the way you want. Your question can probably be answered better on one of the fiberglass trailer forums. By the way, maybe I read right over it, but what year is it?

P.S. Is it on Craigslist?

Year? Don't know. The factory info is not to be found on the chassis. The TT has been registered as a "homebuilt." Weird, Huh?

Edited: Thought just occurred to me. If it's registered as a homebuilt, the original owner may still be looking for it

Never thought to ask when the wife had the seller on the phone -- Duh!

Craigs list -- Don't think so. A friend saw it and notified me.

Edited: Nope, just checked - not on Craigs list.

Price is negotiable and I might go up to $800 if I decide to go for it.

I'm afraid any "fix up" and repair would increase the cost far beyond any profit possibility on a resale.

Oh yeah. I just posted over on the FiberglassRV forum. Maybe some info will show up there.

Thanks, Gage.
