Gally Counter top. What did you use?

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

El-cheapo Home Depot 3/16" lauan, to match the rest of the galley interior. Protected with 3 coats of varnish initially and one coat every year thereafter. Works for me.

Roly, sanding and finishing, sanding and finishing........... :cry:

I used Baltic birch and epoxy.

I build Concrete Counter Tops for homes, but at 18-20 lbs per sq. ft. :shock: not in my tear I wont, not sure what I will use yet. :thinking: Dave

I used a nice piece of 3/4" oak plywood that was left over from a renovation job at work. I used the pocket hole screws to attach a hard oak edge to hide the end grain of the plywood. Turned out nice so far. Once I'm a little closer to finishing I'll be adding a few more coats of spar urethane, the satin kind.
